If you need to shoot in a public place, you will need official permission forms. If you’re not a local company, you need to get a local company to arrange this for you.
If you’re coming from abroad, do not get on the plane until the shooting permission is sorted. We put this information in bold for a good reason. We don’t want you to come here only to find you have to sit around for days waiting for permission to shoot what you need.

Here’ the process. Download the shooting permission guide and application form by clicking below. Follow the instructions and complete the form. We will check through it, let you know if we need anything else and then submit the application to Location Approval Services in Dubai Media City, the agency that approves the applications. Once we submit the application, it can take five to seven working days to process for shoots in Dubai – and up to 20 working days for shoots in other emirates.
